If I am not mistaken, the HideSelection property controls whether or not the selection remains visible when the tree loses focus. It defaults to True (hides selection). Setting it to False should fix this for you.

Hi I'm using a treeview and want to click on a node and then use some sliders/editboxes to alter properties related to the selected node. Selecting the node to twiddle is fine - it becomes selected and is visibly affected (goes blue) but when I click or mousedown on the slider the treeview loses focus and the user can't tell which node in the tree is being affected. Is there any way (other than using the Treeview State images) to do this? I'd like the Blue "Selected Node" indication to NOT go away, after all the treeview still knows (via its selected property) which node is the favoured one. Ideas would be appreciated.
