I am
still using D5, not upgraded yet....I would like a finer control over
colours.
I have
written a little test program to allow specifying of colours to see the numbers
with all the shades,
so far
I have been using colours in the format
$00BBGGRR
(Anyone wanting the test program email me - it has
sliders for the 6 colour values so you can see immediately what each
does....)
So far
I have found it hard getting colours I really like so:
Questions:
Q1 -
Does anyone have a list of colour values that work well together -
especially pale colours
Q2 -
any web sites or references for tools on selecting colour
schemes?
Q3 -
Any issues to be aware of with different windows versions and CRT vs LCD
screens?
Q4 -
So far I don't seem to be able to get that many bright pale shades...is there
any other way of specifying the
overall brightness of the 3 BGR components other than
that above?
Q5 -
any way to get pale or grey colour to window title bar with
D5?
Incidentally I have a descendant of Tbutton and
ColorButton I have modified myself:
Allow
specifying a background colour, and text colour,
also a
different background and foreground colour when the mouse hovers over the
button
also
optionally the text on the button can be bolded when the mouse
hovers.
Quite
nice.
email
me if interested..free giveaway
