We had quite a turn out a John Kaster yesterday, which
would suggest the (Auckland) community is still there... However yes, most
of the existing crowd seems to be well experienced (but not nessarily

Delphi-land I have been asked to investigate the
possibility of migrating my cgi-app from firebird db to Informix Dynamic Server

info, is there anyone out here who has experience of the differences between the
two and how they would affect my app? From what I can gather I will need
to go to dbExpress. I am currently using
IBDatabase, IBQuery, and IBTransactions to manipulate my data. At a quick
look it looks like all my Db code will have to be
changed. Any further tidbits of info are
welcome. (This could even breath some life into nzDUG
list) Have a great day
