PostgreSQL Is Really Great also!!! And Yes, Access is great for one person apps, Quick and Dirty solution there. However when you need to make it multi user on network there is so much that needs to be done to keep it reliable and still that is no guarantee either.

If your going to move to c/s with 50 users then MS Access is a really really bad choice. MS Access is just a desktop DB, the performance goes through the floor after about 5 users logged in. Like you I started with MS Access but soon found out it was a big mistake. Just a tip, FireBird is really good, but NexusDb is brilliant and would be my first choice. Anyway just my 2C Regards Grant Brown > > > _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list [email protected] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list [email protected] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi
