May I ask what sorts of future can I see as a developer in delphi programming? Just bit of confusing.

Nope - DevCo isn't part of it.
 
Customer Support has a line into R&D but they aren't really part of it, so they can only request stuff gets done. IMHO, if support is part of R&D they get much better feedback on what is wrong and the allocation of resources and funding is much clearer. I hope DevCo does this as well.

Interesting article, especially this bit "...Borland has folded Customer Support into Research and Development to improve responsiveness to customers...".  Sounds a bit odd to me, R&D guys doing customer support.  That would piss me off.


Sounds like DevCo is not part of this though.
