I didn't ask this very well - why ADO over DBX ?
Most (If not all) of what I have been able to find on the Net and Newsgroups
says ADO is better...
"It was designed to work better with SQL-Server" etc...
This is a bit airy-fairy - is it correct ? does it still apply to D2006 Win32 ?
Almost all of the info relates to versions other than D2006. Has DBX surpassed
ADO in D2006 ?

Why would anyone go with SQL Server?
(I am not seriously asking this question, I understand some people will
be unfortunate enough to have to use it.)

I have been playing with the ADO options ... Returning small ResultSets
- 200-250 records I can get the speed to equal DBX (not better) but when
the ResultSets increase ADO gets Slower compared to DBX!

I am asking why would anyone go with ADO over DBX ?
