I presume it is still considered a good idea to centralise processing only
procedures/functions (eg business logic) into a code only unit (no form),
and this does make a wee nuisance when doing this....

This feature is called class completion which is why it doesn't work
outside
of classes. It is annoying that it doesn't work outside of classes though.
