Thanks!

I may have found that eventually, or I may have not!

Is there anywhere a list of all the neat IDE tips/tricks because up to now I
have found them mainly by chance.
I have not found a central IDE help topic or web page anywhere with all
these things (this is a hint to the Borland documentation writers)

Here are some of the ones I never knew about and found out various places:

-the hot search for component (click on component title bar and type name of
the component as a filter eg Tbu lists Tbutton)

-inline declaration of a variable (just type it in the code and it moves the
declaration)

-CTRL-SHIFT-C declare procedure (in form unit) (Note this does NOT work in a
code only unit - why not?)

-Alt-Right Alt-Left jump to declaration of function and back

-CTRL/Alt/Up CTRL/Alt/Down Up down one function/procedure at a time

That is the Run without Debugging command.

Right click on the toolbar area and select customize...
Select the RUN category in the command tab and then look for the Run without
Debugging command.
