Follow-up Comment #4, bug #27351 (project denemo):
To implement this in the call
dnm_insertchord (DenemoProject * gui, gint duration, input_mode mode, gboolean
rest)
in commandfuncs.c at the point where
insertionpoint() is called the code could return the amount that didn't fit
into the measure. The call could then proceed with the difference, create a
tie and then call itself recursively to finish the remainder.
