Thanks for all you're doing.
If I go quiet for a couple of weeks now it's because I'm travelling, not
because I've lost interest! The first point is that, before I start
telling you what points I find difficult, I should say that I think it
is a very good program. The quality of the manuscript output is great
and it is easy to input music. Given the complexity of music it is to be
expected that it will take quite a while to discover all the specialised
things that the system can do.
I have (as we all do) a particular initial interest and mine does not
require a particularly high spec. I'm a member of a choir which takes
songs from a variety of sources and does some composition/arranging
itself. So I want to take that music and, quickly and easily, produce a
master copy that is legible and clear (full marks to Denemo). Then I
want to produce CG sound files with each of the various parts stressed
for initially learning the songs and encouraging people to practice
between sessions using their smart phones or whatever (again - high
marks to denemo).
Now - what I find difficult. The only thing so far is that it would be
useful to have the potential for a metronome staff. It might be there
already. This could be another instrument but should be 'pitchless'
clicks, should be easy to set the stress on individual beats and you
should be able to input it like you do notes. This would be particularly
useful for counting into a song and for practicing complex rhythms.

Yes, that would be useful, since it is interesting for us to see how a
beginner is experiencing the software. For instance, it is of particular
interest which points you found difficult and why. Thank you.
