I misunderstood.

I assumed the quote meant that the pdf became named by the tagline.
I have just set a tagline, and renamed the score by saving it as the new name, of course, and the pdf is still the (new) filename_DefaultScoreLayout.pdf.

which is fine; just thought I might have found a way of automatically naming pdfs!

If you have set it, then it stays as what you have set, even if you

Aha! so that is what the tagline does! :-)
