Hi all -

I just installed DenyHosts after finding it to
perfectly fit what I was trying to accomplish.

I have a question, as my IP address keeps getting
blocked for some reason...

I edit the hosts.deny file to remove my IP address,
but it keeps getting added back.

Then I read about RESET_ON_SUCCESS:
If RESET_ON_SUCCESS = yes then the failed login
attempts will be reset to 0 for the respective ip
address if a user successfully logs in from this ip
address.

My question is how can this work? If my IP address is
blocked, how could I possibly log in successfully to
reset the count if I can't get to the server because I
am blocked?
