Thank you Rajesh and Yip and Army. That is very useful feedback. I think that I shall revise the patch to propose just the RENAME COLUMN statement syntax, and to take into account the other comments and to update the patch to match current trunk. I think that it makes sense to file several follow-on issues to track several of the issues raised by the reviewers. So I'll do that.
