Bryan: Is it fair to compare Web brosers to Derby in this case? Web browsers 
are for end users, while Derby is for application programmers. A well behaved 
application should wrap the SSL configuration in a "end-user-friendly" way. We 
should provide the tool the application programmer need in a 
"programmer-friendly" way.
