According to the topic "Creating the boot password"
(http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/dev/devguide/cdevcsecure866716.html), the
length of the encryption key depends on the encryption algorithm and the length
of the boot password. Would allowing users to specify a length themselves
possibly lead to errors?
