what hardware are you running the test on? Mostly I am looking for number of
cpu's and number of cores on the cpu's to again understand the possible
concurrency going on. Thanks for running the single thread test, I will look
at it. Even if from your app
point of view it is single threaded, derby may use multiple threads per db to
take care of background things like checkpoint and
delete row processing. That is why I wanted to know a little more about the
actions your app takes when reproducing the problem.
