I tried the patch on a workstation running OpenSolaris 2008.11 with only JDK 6
installed, and I still managed to build Derby by setting
java15compile.classpath to
/code/derby/trunk1/classes/stubs/jdbc3:/usr/java/jre/lib/rt.jar:/usr/java/jre/lib/jce.jar:/usr/java/jre/lib/jsse.jar.
