Rick Hillegas updated DERBY-4737:
---------------------------------

    Attachment: derby-4737-02-ab-types-assignments-casts.diff
                derby-4737-02-ab-types-assignments-casts.tar

Thanks for the quick review, Kim. Attaching a second rev of the patch with
accompanying tarball: derby-4737-02-ab-types-assignments-casts.

I agree that the examples look better with a title, so I added one as you
suggested. I was a little puzzled that there was no title for the examples
section on the reference page for the data type which I used as my template
(BIGINT). Some of the data types have titled examples (e.g. CHAR), and some
don't. Maybe worth a cleanup on a rainy afternoon.

Vis-a-vis the hobgoblins, I think I will stick with my perverse camel-casing.
Thanks.

> At this point, BOOLEAN is as well-supported as the other Derby datatypes. We
> should document the fact that BOOLEAN is a legal Derby datatype. The
> documentation changes needed are described in the functional spec attached to
> DERBY-499.
