I can definitely see your point and I agree to a large extent in that I don't necessarily think that the idea I posted is a particularly good solution per se.
However, without knowing the constraints under which the poster is operating, it's hard to know what solutions are made impossible by non-technical constraints. A mediocre solution that is possible is infinitely better than a great solution that is not.
