I've opened a JIRA ticket and I've started working on it in order to evaluate the effort required to provide a JNLP PersistenceService storage implementation around WritableStorageFactory API. I'm a senior java developer, but with no experience regarding derby internals. As I said previously: feel free to contribute in any way you think useful to this matter.
