Hi Bernhard
Good point about some confusion for some shorted tags.
There has to be a balance I think in terms of brevity and identification
while taking into account acronyms that might have dual meanings and
having some consistency.
Might I suggest that we do something like your suggestion for ViDes but
have 3 letters for first word and 2-3 for second word
The following and other tags could be
[VisIde]
[BraDes]
[VisDes]
and
[UsaPro] for Usability productivity
[UsaInt] for Usability Interface
Also, you are right about having a reference page somewhere for Design
Tags - this could be for example on the first Design\WhiteBoards page.
Cheers

Hi Marc, all,
While [UX] is quite universal understood, I want you to think (and
decide) about a short tag for Visual Identity / Branding Design.
Marc mentioned the necessity for newcomers to understand the tag, but
I think most of us agree to keeping as much room for a descriptive
subject.
Possible tags would be:
[VI] for Visual Identity
[BD] for Branding Design
[VD] for Visual Design
[ViDes] for Visual Design
None of them are self-descriptive, but we should provide a wiki page
for new members where such abbreviations have to be explained
(together with more general information about our team).
What do you like most?
(I for one prefer [VD])
Could you just add "+1" to the tag of your preference?
Best regards
Bernhard
