Hi people, right now, you might have noticed that lots of people discuss our icon themes again. So, here is an opportunity to really shine within the project and enable artists to work on new themes. I am not sure how much you know about the structure of our icon themes, but it's a clusterfuck, quite frankly: * odd icon names/competing naming schemes * support for only two sizes (in practice those are 16*16 and 24*24) * often hard-coded icon names in the code * duplicates
So, we need someone to weed out the duplicates, to sort/categorise the icons etc. There is some existing work at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Icon_Themes that needs some TLC.
