By that you mean that with those commands, the first line of the page
is selected?
No, they work as they are supposed to work, moving the cursor's position to the beginning of the page, but not as I want it to behave because it centers the cursor position in the screen....
To me that seems like a minor difference, but if that behaviour is
important to you, please file a bug to have current behaviour changed
(not that I'd be of much help but maybe CC me in that bug).

Astron.

Well, I could live without it. I don't even know if it's a bug or I'm expecting it to behave in a wrong way.

When you only see one page at a time it's nice to see the end of the previous page and the beginning of the next one, but in big wide monitors (maybe up from 22") I find it easier to see them side by side. However when you're seeing the end of pages 1 and 2 and the beginning of pages 3 and 4, you are missing the beginning of page 2 and the end of page 3... which are much more important than the end of page 1 and the beginning of page 4.... you're only seeing one continuous page, while you could be seeing two.... I don't know if I'm expressing clearly what I mean.

In fact, I think that the way it scrolls could be better if advancing one page changed from 1-2 to 2-3, and then to 3-4, instead of going 1-2 -> 3-4 -> 5-6 ..... something like sliding the pages horizontally. When you're working at the end of page 2, you could need the beginning of page 3, and when you're working at the beginning of page 3, you could need the end of page 2.

The "1-2 -> 3-4 -> 5-6" could be kept as the behaviour of the book view, which only puts the page 1 on the right and visually merges the pages, but behaving in the same way. What do you think?

Thank you for your patience :)

Paco
