Hi, but what can you say about so many unused space around "Open File" and "From Template" buttons? For me it dazzles! Seriously, I've never used "Open File" button via start center (sometimes via Writer), "From Template" button I had used maybe few times to check templates.
For me, Writer, Calc etc. buttons should be centered - they are the most used, in my opinion. Alex's design is good and nice looking, but - in my opinion - not practical. Hope you understand me.
