Congratulation on the new designs. The overall is pleasing to the eye and it looks clean and pro enough.
I've seen another design on irc with nina paley's drawings, and I don't see it in the post... Is it somewhere ?
Now feedback : As I said before the look is ok, but the feel is less ok. Everything since revolves around the name there's a lot of snow and a very cold feel. The problem here is that the "feel" expresses the metaphor *behind* the concept rather than the concept *itself*. The unwanted result is that it adds a layer between the user and the idea and a lot a time and space will be lost to translate this layer to the main idea. Therefore the design should show actual projects (rather than the snow metaphor) and the actual process (ie : supporters, money, fees....). Arguably, I'd go for warm/dynamic colors to express the warmth and potential of the collective.
Also, this is all about people passionate about their project : more of them, less graphics/ diagrams.
Once again the design shown are solid basis and a very good work. I think the ideas I'm suggesting are very compatible with them if anyone agrees
