I like that one best. We also need to leave room for an ellipsis (...)

would be to add a scroll bar but that would be just too much for such a

How about a "down-arrow" button instead of ellipsis, which could be
clicked on to scroll the event list? (Kind of like what happens with long
menus.) It might look nicer than adding a scrollbar and use less space.
