1b. Importing contacts from CSV and or TXT files
+ with OR without header row
+ with confirm dialog to ensure fields match up
Is this to facilitate greater interoperability with contacts managers
that don't support vCard, but will export to a csv, txt file? (What
clients don't support vCard?)
Or is this to accommodate users who manage their contacts in a
spreadsheet or text file?
Or BOTH?
Sadly, Thunderbird only exports to LDIF or CSV. Outlook 2003 doesn't
want to export the full address book to vCard, although I may not have
looked hard enough. Outlook Express will only export one contact at a
time to vCard.
They all support CSV.
