Correct. > I seem to remember that we wanted to be able drag read-only events onto > other calendars but this was difficult for some reason. This was sort of the idea from my post, that it'd be nice if I could "do the right thing" and at least make a copy. Even better would be if that copy was linked to the original in some way, such that if Ted (the colleague) deleted the item for a week and synced, my copy would be updated. The collaboration workflows already support this, I imagine, if it's driven by Ted and he sends the event (via email) and then I can respond (via email). Is there no way for me, as the "downstream" collaborator, to see an event in a read-only shared collection and track that item without double clicking and entering in all the same info? The spec does seem clear that there's nothing I can do with an event in a read-only collection. I note you can select an event in that collection, but what action can you take with that selected event? (I of course understand if this is outside Beta scope; the intent is only to explore this usage scenario and see how Chandler supports it.) -- Jared _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Open Source Applications Foundation "Design" mailing list http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/design
