+1 simplification is good

So in Chandler, we currently have this notion of 'partial sharing' where instead of sharing an entire collection, users can share just the task list, calendar or mailbox for that collection.

The original motivation in 0.6 was to allow both developers and users to focus in on just calendar sharing, without having to worry about the other parts of the Chandler app and/or having to negotiate our half-finished faceted sidebar.

Since then, we've expanded the scope of dogfoodable Chandler to include all the app areas and as a result,  the partial sharing paradigm we erected in 0.6 is starting to feel more and more like added complexity.

For an example, see forwarded bug below.

Are there still compelling use cases where users specifically ONLY want to share just 1 or 2 portions of a collection, but not all 3? We haven't come across any in our target user scenarios, but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who feels they have an important use case.

The benefits of getting rid of partial sharing include:
1. Avoiding confusing bugs like the one below where a sharEE adds tasks, notes and email to a share and nothing happens because the original share was set up when the shar-ER was in the calendar and inadvertently shared as a CALENDAR-ONLY share.

2. Get rid of confusing 'partial share' sharing status icons in the sidebar.

Subject: [Bug 7313]  New: Changing 'Manage share...' dialog settings to share all kinds of items screws up share

Summary: Changing 'Manage share...' dialog settings to share all
kinds of items screws up share
           Product: Chandler
           Version: 0.6
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Sharing
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

1. In Chandler_osx_0.7alpha5.dev-r12238-20061106015202, I added a bunch of
tasks and messages etc to Priss' Cosmonauts calendar share. I also stamped some
of the events she already had on the calendar.

2. I closed the alpha 5 build and set up all my data in the most recent alpha 4
checkpoint build: Chandler_osx_0.7alpha4.dev-r12237-checkpoint20061103

3. When all my settings had been restored, I went to look at the Cosmonauts
share and all of my changes had been lost. None of the tasks and messages I had
added were there. Also, none of my edits to the events were there either.

I realized that this was probably because I had never changed the 'Manage
share...' settings in alpha 5 to 'share' more than just events.

But I didn't understand why my edits to the event items had also disappeared.

4. I opened up alpha 5 again to try and rectify the problem. I went into the
'Manage share...' dialog and changed the settings to share 'All items'.

5. However, when I tried to sync the Cosmonauts collection, I got an error icon
in the sidebar, with no tooltip explaining why there had been an error.

6. Back in the alpha 4 build, nothing had changed. There were still no tasks
and messages and my edits to the event items weren't showing either.
