We have found a potential bug that corrupts a users' calendar data if they edit calendars (published from Chandler) from the Cosmo UI. I unfortunately can't give you more info than that since we are still in the process of investigating this further to determine if this is indeed the problem.

In the meantime, I just wanted to remind everyone that Cosmo 0.5 is not fully dogfoodable yet. We haven't had the opportunity to do the type of dogfood testing on the Cosmo UI that we have done with Chandler. Testing out the Cosmo UI and logging QA bugs is welcome and encouraged since it helps us get Cosmo to a more stable state. However, trying to edit real calendar data with Cosmo is somewhat risky at this stage and we recommend you try this with test calendars only.

Just to set expectations, if we find problems Chandler to Chandler sharing we would consider a patch to fix this so we do not block Chandler dogfooding. Bugs found using the Cosmo UI will simply be logged and fixed in the next release since we are not at the stage in the project where dogfood maintainability is a goal. Cosmo 0.6 will be our "first dogfoodable release" and implies we will have higher stability expectations for Cosmo UI in the next iteration.

Cheers,
Sheila
