New Threads:
Bobby wanted clarification on the Chandler Urls in Collection Details
dialog. We are going to link to the landing page as well as the
downloads page.

We held a design session on edit/update so that the developers could
surface any outstanding questions and issues.

Priscilla sent out some details about the Cosmo collection details
dialog buttons. Specifically there is an issue when users edit the
name of the collection they are currently viewing. Due to the
position of the Save dialog there might be some confusion that you
are downloading the URL/ticket since it's an editable field similar
to the display name.
+ We would like to disable the URL/ticket field so it's not editable
+ If possible an "Apply Now" button that gets enabled when you start
to edit the display name might be more intuitive.
+ There was then some clarification about the download ics file option.

Mimi sat down with BKirsch and came up with a proposal for some
modifications to the Chandler Accounts dialog - "Account dialog
rework and Preview workflows". Mimi's email summaries all the
changes. Brian replied with several issues.
+ It's problematic to test the accounts when the user clicks ok since
we might have several accounts. When we test the account, we also
scan for Chandler Task, Chandler Event folders etc which is a another
reason why we should test each account individually.
+ Mimi clarified that Ok only tests the currently selected account.
We have a Done button to complete the operation.
+ Brian had some specific suggestions about the auto-configure button.
+ Mimi reworked the dialogs http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/
Journal/AccountSetupWorkflow
+ There is going to be a popup for progress and error messages.

Priscilla sent out another round of updates to the Cosmo 0.6 spec.

Philippe comments that he was confused by the current collection and
sharing menus.
+ Mimi commented that we aren't quite done with all the rework for
Alpha5 yet and we can review them once that's complete.

Mimi sent out a proposal for the Chandler OOTB experience. Now that
we are more than just a calendar and users will be navigating to all
areas of the app we need revisit the default collection and various
other specifics of the sidebar.

Continued Discussions:
There was still some continued discussion about Remove Behavior.
+ This was mostly to clarify some details around setting ticklers for
tasks. You can specify an alarm without a specific time but it's not
intuitive from the UI. We have since logged a bug to try and improve
this.
+ There were also some discussions around the Who column and whether
or not it's necessary to see this if all the items have "me" in the
who column. The user feature to specify which columns appear fell out
of Preview.

There were further suggestions for renaming the Cosmo "home directory
browser or Collection browser"
+ Database browser
+ Account browser
+ Items browser
+ Decision: We are calling this the Account Browser

Katie sent a follow-up email that we are still planning on having
proxy support in Preview. It's currently scheduled for Alpha5.
