this is not a preview feature. it's a separate line of development
vinu is working on for his internship. we have no idea when it'll be
integrated into the trunk, but i'm 99% sure it will be after preview.
Hm, okay, maybe this is my bad. I was thinking that we were going
to try to get his code in before then. If we are waiting, then
maybe he can pretty much do whatever he likes, since we'll probably
have to rethink a lot of things after preview.
