We've talked about this before, but my vote would be to use this opportunity to move the basic Web sites to an actual CMS. The two leading contenders in this space are Drupal and Joomla.

The other alternative would be something more powerful like Plone (that would likely require a bit more work to set up and maintain).

From all the info I've seen, Drupal looks like the best bet, since it allows you to run multiple Web sites from a single installation. Looks like it's pretty easy to do pretty/search-engine-friendly URLs too.

Do we have a list of criteria to help us decide what type of technology solution we want to use?
