Hey Priss,

I did a pass with the clear button style...(I'm wondering if it looks disabled the way the selected column header looks disabled? Mostly because the buttons are on a white background? I can try something in between the clear and the dark grey.)

Open Issues
+ RE: 'Make-the-suggested-option-blue'. Does that convention apply to the text or the button? Or in our case, would it be apply the grey to the 'suggested option'?

+ We should also discuss the type treatment for the product name. Agree on a font and layout style that will work on the wiki, landing page and desktop splashscreen.

+ Header style

+ Subscribe with... pulldown. Should it say Subscribe with Chandler Desktop? Because not all options in that pulldown are subscription options? There are also the download .ics file options?

+ Visual syntax, font sizes and font colors.

+ Language
- Creating / Adding new items to the collection.
- Username versus ID

+ Capitalization scheme
- Attribute names, "Username" versus "User Name" versus "User name" versus "username"

+ First order UI elements: What needs to pop, etc... Proposed scheme:
- Stuff users need to see immediately, whether or not they're looking
- Stuff users need to be find easily when looking for them
- Stuff users can find on their own time

Thx! Mimi :o)

Mimi and I have been iterating on some ideas for the dashboard web UI.

I updated the mock ups on the 0.7 spec: http:// wiki.osafoundation.org/Projects/CosmoZeroDotSevenSpec#CurrentMockUp

Some updates are the following:
+ New logo and Chandler Hub typesetting
+ New branding colors: Red, White and Grey

+ Generally tried to clear out and de-clutter the header area
+ On the bottom two mock ups, faint gradient behind the header area which matches the white disc behind the red dog to visually separate the header from the main app UI.

+ Toned down the Sign up text
+ Added Log in back into the 'user area'

+ Moved the quick item entry bar up to the nav area
+ Made the dialog headers 'grey' to match the app buttons

+ Alert bar (for time zone and perhaps other messages) in the header area to grab the user's attention so we don't lose 'above- the-fold' pixels.
+ Pagination

These are not final, we're still iterating though generally this is the direction we've been heading. We will review some of the details/issues for the style guide in the design session time tomorrow. We'll be sending out an agenda soon.

Thanks, -Priscilla
