Hi Philippe,

Aparna gave me a ticket and I tried. So, for everyone's edification, you
can edit anything in a read-only item. Apparently also the UI in the
markup bar is broken and the striked crayon is not displayed.

Intriguing. I thought I'd just fixed the read-only markup-bar. It
works if you try to subscribe to, say:

It's possible read-only for EIM and ICS read-only aren't getting their
read-only details set in the same places, or perhaps you haven't updated
since Friday, or... maybe it's working on Windows but not OS X?

It might be an OSX-only problem. Just now I subscribed to a read- only collection on my PPC Mac and for each event in the collection, the detail view shows the little crayon icon (without the slash through it). I verified that the sharing layer is reporting the items are indeed read only (sharing.isReadOnly(item) is True). Also, an item which is read-write currently does not show any crayon icon at all, just a blank white space (at least on PPC Mac)
