*Issue*
Basically there are subtle nuances between the terms 'Remove' and
'Delete' on the desktop. The two have different meanings which have
not yet been addressed on the web UI, simply because there is no idea
of 'Trash' or a soft delete on the web UI.
In addition, copy and past items into another collection per
Jeffrey's wonderful explanation of what 'Remove' & 'Delete' means on
the desktop:

Only emptying the trash should hard-delete items, although there's
currently a bug where items aren't added to the trash after collection
deletion, so it might seem like the items are hard deleted in this

+ What does it mean when a user subscribes to a collection, unaware
the items has been copied to/from another collection and deletes the
item? Other users sharing other collections, but happen to have the
same 'copied' item will also loose the item once deleted.
Currently on the web UI, the way to remove items is to select the
item, then click on the 'Remove' button in the detail view.
*Proposal A*
Keep the current behavior, which is a hard delete, but change the
text on the 'Remove' button in the detail view to 'Delete'.
*Proposal B*
Keep the current 'Remove' button in the detail view, but when the
user selects 'Remove' it is not a hard delete off the server.
Effectively the item would be hidden from view in the collection, but
remain on the server so in the other shared collections where the
item might have been copied would not be deleted.
*Proposal C*
When the user selects the 'Remove' button and the items belongs to
other collections, a dialog would appear and inform the user and give
them the option: 'The item you are about to delete are shared in 3
other collections. Would you like to remove it from this collection
or delete it from all collections. [Delete] [Remove]
Our recommendation is to do proposal B if it's quick to do, but
otherwise if the easiest thing would be to change the button text
then go with proposal A.
