Agreed that use of 'my' in any naming convention is horrible. Even setting aside the Clippy-like feeling over being overly familiar, telling a user to go to "your My Collection" is cringe-inducing.

I personally don't have a problem with the possessive used with either my name, or the username for my account, especially when it's a default that I can customize anyway. All very subjective.

I proposed the overt use of 'collection' to begin prepping end users to think about the Web UI as being more than a calendar. Once we have generic item support, you will clearly be able to put more stuff in this, um, collection of stuff, than just calendar events.
