I was hoping to find a way to go to an old-date calendar view and thought that if I chose the All view and selected the item (say Jan 30, 2003 for example) then changed the view to Calendar the canvas would retain the focus on the selected item and show that in the calendar canvas.
But it doesn't, the focus goes to whatever week was previously selected and no item is selected in the Detail View. Even if I had previously selected an item in that calendar week, after I switch to All and back to Calendar, the focus on that item is lost. I can go back to the All view and the item previously selected in the All view (on Jan 30, 2003) is still selected, and the DV shows that item. It just seemed strange to me for the app to lose it's selected focus on an item as I change views and was wondering if this is a design "feature" or a bug.
