Forwarding a thread on duplicating items to the Design list...
We could offer all 3 options. If we were to go with offering 1
option, I'd go with duping the entire series. Would this work for all
kinds of items and collections of items as well?

recurring events, maybe we should consider doing this?
One user's experience does not a landslide of support make (I've never
heard anyone else wish for this), but I'd SWAG that as a day or two
of work.
Mimi: FWIW, Esther definitely has this workflow too. I think it's
definitely a
power calendar user feature. (More of a Busy Body/Coordinator than a
Hub?) But I agree, let's wait for more feedback before moving on this. I
think it'd be better (less confusing) to implement Duplicate for all
events, not just non-recurring events.
Jeffrey: I'm fine to wait on this one, but fleshing this out a little
more:
It isn't even hugely difficult to implement Duplicate for recurring
events, except for maybe confusion about semantics. Would we want to
allow THIS, FUTURE, and ALL options, or just THIS when duplicating
recurring events?
