Actually, this particular item is no longer on the table as a proposal. Instead, I'd like to focus our attention on the 'lightening up' the UI proposal.

+ Lighten-up the UI so it more accurately reflects what Chandler was designed-for:
+ Remove the New, Reply, Reply all, Forward buttons from the toolbar
        + Rename 'Mail' to Messages

Aparna,

This is the type of dialog we were hoping to have about the details. Perhaps it might be easier to start a separate thread?

Cheers,

Regarding renaming task stamp to projects, I think this should be discussed on the list. I personally think the task stamp might be appropriate. Agreed it gets us into the "Whats a project, what's a task" dilemma some times but people may associate projects with things like MS projects where you work with resources, schedule and link various dependencies. Apart from that association, even personally when I stamp a note as a task, I mean for it to be a task and not a project. When I stamp a task as mail and send it to someone, I am mean to remind them to finish the task. I have tasks in my Personal collection like: Call the travel agent and confirm tickets, Get the prescription from the drugstore, Buy a baby shower gift. I think of all these as tasks and not projects really. I think we should get more input on before we finalize to go ahead with the project stamp.
