Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35203
Affects: gnome-vfs2 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
The nautilus browser window disappears as soon as I try to access a SMB
share that is protected with a password. Non-protected shares are
working.
Both of a) running ``nautilus smb://server/thomas'' in a terminal and b)
opening Nautilus through the menu and using C-l to switch to the
password protected share yield the same crash.
I'd provide a backtrace, but don't know how to do that; nautilus
detaches from the terminal.
This is on an up-to-date Ubuntu Dapper installation (upgraded from
Breezy some weeks ago; it was still working there).
