Public bug report changed:

Comment:
Items in "Computer" seem to have a more usual behaviour now:

- Mounted hd partitions are shown correctly. No extra partitions as before.
- hd partitions are not shown if they have the noauto option in fstab, but
network shares defined as cifs are shown even if they have the noauto.
- Floppy, CD and usb drives are shown even if unmounted.

Regarding usb drives, when they are unmounted they still appear in
Computer as a removed drive, but it is impossible to remount it whithout
removing the drive and re-inserting it.

I don't know if all this is the desired behaviour. I personally thought
that the best option was to show as removable drives all the hd
partitions that are either mounted in /media or have a defined mount
point in /media (and have the noauto option). This could provide an easy
and intuitive place to mount/unmount extra partitions that are non-
system. This would be even better if mount/unmount process was done
asking for the password instead of refusing to do it when not root.
