I can confirm this behavior in dapper and agree with the reporter that it is
not ideal. When natilus crashes in whatever situation it always starts with a
file browser window of your home folder, which is slightly odd. I wanted to
open a window there I could do it myself, so to speak.
I've actually had some rare cases where something in my home folder has caused
it to crash. It then restarts itself and crashes again imediately (sorry, I
don't have a backtrace or anything. I will collect one if it happens again).
They point is that such a situation would be less bad if a new window was not
automatically opened.
