Hello,
although in the preferences of Nautilus, it is properly checked, the
confirmation message when you delete a document or other does not, it
goes directly to the trash.
By cons, when you empty the trash or you are doing Shift + Delete
(Deleting an object without going through the trash), there really is a
confirmation message.
