What we mean, is you can you provide us with a step by step instruction on how to show that the bug exists? Example: 1. open nautilus 2. go to Edit->Preferences and check the box for Show hidden and backup files 3. At this point nautilus does not show files 4. Restart nautilus 5. Nautilus still does not show hidden files etc, etc. Please include as much detail as possible.
Using a structure like that allows us to attempt to reproduce the symptoms you are reporting. The big catch is apparently that hidden files will not show even after you close nautilus windows and re-open one.
