I tried to copy a DVD movie to desktop, because the Mplayer Movie Player
couldn't read the files. This operation copied some of the files, but
failed on others.
OK, that didn't work so I moved the folder to Trash. When I tried to
Empty Trash it refused to because I didn't have permission.
Move to Trash should never move anything to Trash that cannot be Empty'd
or Deleted without warning.
I can not change the permissions on any of the folders or files either.
Of course I don't have the ability to logon as root, but I bet that
would not work anyway.
The folders indicate that I have Creat/Delete permission, but it will
not allow me to extend that permission to the contained files.
