1. The DVD disc was inserted in two different DVD drives. One in a old machine (Pentoium III) and another in a new machine (Athlon X2 64bit).
2. Yes, I can see other DVDs. I know the DVD player is good. The point is that this particular DVD with so many pdfs in the root of the DVD can be read it by WinXP, but not by Linux and to me that is a bug in Linux. 3. I suppose I can move the data to another media, like a USB drive but I don't see the point to do that because I can see the contents in Windows. Really I'm only reporting a bug in Linux.
