Sorry... I think that is not the problem. I brought up hardy on a test machine using the liveCD, installed Inkscape: 'sudo apt-get install inkscape' (again this is a liveCD session - nothing installed to the hard drive), copy over the Example_testfile.svg file from this machine, opened it in Inkscape, selected File|Print, selected the automatically installed cups-pdf printer that is installed with the liveCD, made zero adjustments to the settings, printed to PDF, and the result is a proper PDF. See the attached.
I'll have to download an burn an intrepid liveCD as I only have an intrepid alternate CD. I have an intrepid hard drive in the box somewhere, but prefer to try from the liveCD so that any previous users settings do not affect the test. ** Attachment added: "Print_Example_testfile.pdf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27908927/Print_Example_testfile.pdf -- pdftops CUPS filter has several problems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382379 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to poppler in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
