The Sony Cybershot camer uses the MTP protocol, so this could be a bug in libmtp8. Could you please execute the command 'apport-collect -p libmtp8 459380" with the camera connected to the computer and switched on to transfer mode? This will attach extra information to this bug report about the way MTP sees the camera.
Please also don't change the status of the bug with reading <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status>. It was set to Incomplete because the bug didn't contain enough information to be passed on to the developers.
