Dear Andrew, thank you for your kind response. That doesn't work because
it's a link. That's why it doesn't gets displayed at the menu, what
you're doing is a hack with the Type=Application. You're more than
welcome to open a bug upstream an discuss there the inclusion for such
type in the gnome-panel but that is not an Ubuntu issue. Closing this as
Won't fix.
